Victim Consciousness...and some victims

Victim [from Latin victima] - Originally denoted a person or animal killed as a sacrifice.
1. A person or thing that suffers harm, death, etc., from another or from some adverse act, circumstance, etc. victims of tyranny

Life on planet Earth leads to experiencing victimization at some point for virtually everyone to some degree. True victimization is usually easily identified, yet the line between victim and oppressor can actually be quite fuzzy. Like any other yin/yang polarity, the human psyche contains both simultaneously, and even those who identify fully with the oppressor polarity are seeking out victims in order to complete themselves. Seeing the self as a victim often leads to becoming an unjust oppressor, just as seeing the self as an oppressor often leads to being victimized,
and rarely is it a fully conscious move.

Self identified victims can easily lose all objectivity and, just like their oppressors, perceive themselves as completely in the right, even when the truth is not so black and white.
The "victim" feels justified, and revenge is often a slippery slope into oppression (although revenge properly executed is not always unhealthy). They are looking to be offended in order to justify their underlying feelings of injustice and often cannot tell the difference between real offence and their own egoic defensiveness.

"Think about it: what weakens us is feeling offended by the deeds and misdeeds of our fellow men. Our self-importance requires that we spend most of our lives offended by someone."
~"Don Juan" in Castaneda’s “The Fire From Within”

The "poor me" mentality and identification with being a victim is what I am refering to here. Getting beyond the polarity of victim/oppressor often requires seeing how one victimizes oneself beyond what is objectively "done to them" by others. So the term "victim consciousness" should be differentiated from actual victimization for sematic purposes here. It's my hope that victims of violence, stalking, and other obvious injusticies won't take offense to what I am really trying to convey. No one here is blaming the victimized for "attracting it", and the author certainly has been victimized (and injured) in extreme enough ways to empathize with anyone who is feeling disempowered by external forces. "Victim consciousness" often results from such traumas, and it's the viscious cycle of perception that errupts that is the SHADOW ISSUE, and creates a state of mind that expects to be victimized over and over again. That this type of shadow leads to dreams unfulfilled, love unrequited, and suppression of the life force should be obvious to any observer. In some people (perhaps with less access to spirit or emotional energies) the shadow issues resulting from victimization turns them into perps.

The biggest perps out there (yes, even the banksters and the gross psychopath elite) are ultimately coming from victim consciousness. They oppress others in order to come out on top and avoid ever being a victim, all the while they are victims (of their own egos!), and they continue to oppress in order to deny that fact. Meanwhile in the general public, self identified "victims" out there are often not-so-subtle oppressors when it comes down to it…usually of themselves, their children, their communities, and their environment/ mother nature. This opens them up to being victimized by the elite in the long run, for the more extreme parasitic/ predatory types out there are simply looking for the weaknesses in others to exploit (and deny their weakness of soul).

It’s a fact that when a victim asks “why” of their oppressor, if the response is honest the bottom line answer from the oppressor will invariably be “because I can”. Most acts of victimization are about energy going to the oppressor/ perp and the perp having the opportunity in the first place. This is true of everything from robbery to rape, and in less extremes it plays out in daily finances, jobs and social relationships. More than a few of the perps out there have been heavily victimized and are craving the power they lost. Victims who take no responsibility for their lives are just asking to be exploited and rarely stand up for themselves either during or after the oppression. In this way humanity as a whole eats its own tail.

Someone who identifies with being a victim is easy "food" for their oppressor(s), and through their thoughts and actions they are highly likely to create and attract oppression for themselves to affirm their victim stance (and this is usually not a fully conscious act). They have many “leaks” that the opportunistic parasites can feed off of and their lack of self observation turns them into big blamers (and who can blame them?!). The rescuers, often through their fake charities, play upon this victim consciousness that is embedded in the weak (and if your DNA is starving, you will accept their "help" and their GMO foods without question in most cases, only to make you weaker).

The system in which we live is a "victim consciousness system" in which people are encouraged to not only play the blame game, but to even blame the victim in many instances. The financial system is obviously a huge part of the perpetuation of this insanity, as well as class systems which in some nations are utterly inhumane and rigged. It's totally understandable that there are entire populations who are deeply entrenched in victimhood and therefore mesmerized by victim consciousness to extremes (that often lead to violent conflicts). Many of these people never had even a remote chance for a better life from the day they were born, yet something got them to this point as a collective and often the manipulation can be traced to the same families and cabals that are still taking advantage of the poor to this day.

Right now most of the population identifies with being victims about money/ resources because of generations of total oppression and greed. Social engineering and manipulation and lies have made this the case, but so has individual and collective denial! Lack of self observation and personal responsibility on a global scale have sealed the deal, and by this point many are too starving to even begin to take personal responsibility. The Banksters/elite/"Killuminai" goons are coming from a place of LACK or they never would have to take take take so much from the people in the first place.

The average citizen has greed in them too, and this is easily played upon by parasites who ironically are also "consumers". Parasites sucking off of parasites, the financial system is an ugly tail eating game. The leaders would have created anything but a paradigm of lack if they themselves weren’t empty. Victim consciousness creates lack and it creates and results from parasitism on many levels. In some ways it seems our 3D existence is one huge lesson in all of this.

Just as no one is fully yin or fully yang, no one is fully a victim or oppressor. And I will admit that babies born into victimization seem to be the exception, however I think it’s premature to assume so considering reincarnation may be a factor, in which case it’s once again a matter of personal responsibility as to how and why an individuation “got there” in the first place. What is the spiritual point of being born into a system where you will never get anything but starvation and misery? This is part of the greater mystery of who we all are and why each of us is experiencing our lives a certain way - and there is no simple answer, but either way it would seem the universe has checks and balances and consequences (and likely there is truth in the concept of “Karma” even though the purity of that truth has surely been skewed to suit egoic agendas, and may also be manipulated unnaturally by mechanisms in the artificial matrix).

It’s when self observation comes into play that the ability to truly be responsible for the self and the contents of ones mind and emotions becomes possible. This takes the wind out of the perpetrator’s sails. No one can make you feel or respond in any mechanical way at the soul level, they can't own you if you get beyond your body and mind and into your true Self. It also negates any of the “blame the victim” attitude that is so prevalent and insidious amongst those crafty oppressors who have a talent for getting people to victimize themselves. Going within to this extent can also lead to attracting TRUE HELP instead of the type of rescue that only creates more dependance (give a man a fish or teach him to fish!).

A person with true self observation skills (& self love) isn’t going to be so stuck in ego, and they will be much more honest about where their true responsibilities (and triggers) lie, as well as having honesty about the extent to which they really are being victimized externally. Even if the external oppression is ongoing they will still create. They will not beat themselves up but instead make the corrections and learn the lessons, transmuting them into wisdom and moving forward in whatever capacity possible. When victimized, this type of person will do their best to take “right action” to remedy the situation and if needed, give the oppressor a good mirror (which in rare circumstances does mean killing them to defend your LIFE, however in extremely victimizing situations people often don't get the chance to deal with their perps directly at all). They will also be able to accept and move through grief and death, realizing that the body is temporary but the soul endures.

It’s ok to observe the self go back into states of victim consciousness, anger, self pity. If a person is in a very bad situation, these emotions are NATURAL and should not be judged, however they are not the "identity" of that individual. Many people identify with their victimization to the point that it dominates their whole life and personality. True freedom, regardless of circumstances, means identifying with the observer (soul) rather than the contents of ones mind or the condition of ones body (a huge challenge for sure).

The observer doesn’t censor, but in the act of true self observation (no matter what) the soul transmutes. Sometimes when we get victimized it scars, but like Henry Rollins said, “Scar tissue is stronger than regular tissue. Realize the strength, move on.” It can take years (or even a whole lifetime) to move through the emotions and deal with the scars caused by one incident of victimization, yet it’s what must be transmuted in order for LIFE to continue and more importantly the soul to evolve and grow. Often it's these great challenges that teach us the most in the long run.

When we come out of victim consciousness we attract less oppression and create less victimization for ourselves. Perhaps there are even humans who have been totally freed from this paradigm. In one of Castaneda’s books (forget which) there is a well known quote in which he asks "Don Juan" what he would do if someone was going to shoot him with a gun and Don Juan answers, “I wouldn’t be there”. It’s the avoidance of victimizing situations that is the gift of wisdom.

In conclusion, it’s obvious that much of what passes for victimhood out there has a heavy element of self sabotage and limiting type of thinking involved. Humans victimize themselves far more than plants and animals ever would (look at the foods and chemicals people take in voluntarily that destroy DNA!). People act against their own interests in the name of mechanical reactions and egoic notions about who they are on a regular basis. Compare an overweight lady in America feeling sorry for herself about her body image with a starving person in Africa who was born with nothing and the whole victim consciousness issue starts to take on perspective. There is real victimization and then there is the “victim in their own mind”. In self observation/ self-love one begins to unravel the difference between the two and act accordingly.

The “victim triangle” is a well illustrated, excellent tool, especially for those who constantly go around looking to rescue victims only to end up reaffirming the victim consciousness even more so. It's also insightful for those of us who strive to come out of victim consciousness only to find that we become "starting gate prosecutors" and loose much energy "fighting the good fight". Lots of insights at the link below regarding what I'm talking about, and this lady is just such a gem with her teachings in general that I think her site(s) are a great tool for people who want to work on themselves.

And now... for contrast and reality check...SOME VICTIMS...

Part of the reason I wrote this post is that it’s a prerequisite to upcoming blogs about my experiences with “otherwordly” and occult things, especially the “Greys”.

It's the tendency for a human to make aliens and otherwordly beings into oppressors or rescuers, and when the people who want to be rescued by them realize that will not be the case even they often get victimy about it. The truth is extraterrestrials and beings with greater dimensional perspective can only help those who help themselves, and only when many other factors allign. All others who offer "help" are taking advantage of the human victim consciousness and have ulterior motives, especially if they want to be worshipped or steal energy. Humanity must grow up and find personal responsibility, and any utopian system without that is simply enslavement in disguise.

"If seers can hold their own in facing petty tyrants, they can certainly face the unknown with impunity, and then they can even stand the presence of the unknowable."
~Don Juan in Castaneda’s “The Fire From Within”

The issue of victim consciousness is unavoidable when dealing with anything regarding mind control, aliens, or occult subjects in general.
There is also the factor that many if not all of these "Greys" have themselves been victimized in their own experiences, and much of their oppression is based in victim consciousness too.

Think for instance of the “anal probe” meme. Ok, whether or not it was Greys who really perpetrated that act matters little if it’s the first thing people think of when they think of Grey aliens (and it often is!). Fears, both legit and irrational, abound when dealing with these subjects. The fact that humanity as a whole is being (seemingly) oppressed by outsiders is a huge issue that influences the psyche of all of us whether we admit it or not. Something in the human mind knowns the matrix that we live in just "isn't right". How else could a human being like Dick Cheney go so "Borg" as to have a mechanical heart? Why else would I place someone who everyone perceives as one of the biggest oppressors out there at the top of my list of victims!!

VALIS, Pink-Purple Light, Phosphenes & F Sharp

"God, he told us, had fired a beam of pink light directly at him, at his head, his eyes; Fat had been temporarily blinded and his head had ached for days. It was easy, he said, to describe the beam of pink light; it's exactly what you get as a phosphene after-image when a flashbulb has gone off in your face. Fat was spiritually haunted by that color. Sometimes it showed up on a TV screen. He lived for that light, that one particular color." ~VALIS
It was 2009 when I read VALIS, Divine Invasion & The Transmigration of Timothy Archer for the first time, and it triggered a stream of consciousness surrounding the pinkish-purple light spectrum that I will summarize in this blog post.
The key to Philip K. Dick’s VALIS Trilogy was the seeming contrast between the organic and the synthetic (artificial intelligence), the real and the “unreal”. The best illustration of this dynamic was Dick’s encounter with the “pink light”, which he experienced as both an artificial laser and a natural phenomenon of light. The split Philip represented in himself through his altar ego, “Horselover Fat”, not only correlated with the nature of his pink light experiences, but was reflected in his externalization and separation from “God”.
VALIS is the first of a loosely connected trilogy and is a somewhat autobiographical book based upon true events. In early 1974 Dick had a series of experiences that later led to the 1981 science fiction novel VALIS, which stands for Vast Active Living Intelligence System (and sounds like another way of saying “matrix”).
I came away from VALIS realizing that if the majority of humans were half as honest with themselves about their personal process and insanity as Philip K. Dick there would certainly be a lot more enlightenment and creative genius going around. Here we are 37 years later and his VALIS/ Zebra/ Plasmate experiences and writings about them are still totally relevant and valuable (and certainly “the empire never ended” still applies). At times Dick's interpretations of the data may have been a bit "off", but it's all there and clearly he was a true visionary who saw a great deal of what has gone on in the past as well as what the future holds (which is why they have made so many movies from his sci fi books).
“The phenomenal world does not exist; it is a hypostasis of the information processed by the Mind.” ~Exigesis #30 from VALIS
Anyone who understands the nature of mind control and MK ultra has to at least suspect Dick was a subject to some extent. The fact that his home was broken into by what were most likely government operatives, along with some of his visions, confirm that he was likely under surveillance to some extent. His encounters with the “pink light” are at the forefront of the mysteries surrounding his life, and it’s a bit disconcerting that he was listening to “Strawberry Fields Forever” when he received one of his main transmissions (a song long associated with mind control). So too is the fact that his pets were not only aware of Dick’s experiences, they died from cancer afterwards. He was also obviously highly disturbed by the visions of the Russian scientists, and it’s best to keep and open mind about all of Dick’s experiences and writings and to remember that the mind controllers aren’t really in control at all. (And as noted in my disclaimer page, they do not own the symbols or the pink light or any of it, but are just spiritually stunted humans in a learning process).
With that said, it’s clear that there is more to his pink light experiences than simple mind control or even a satellite beaming an information rich laser into a person’s head. The very nature of pink light is enough to confirm Philip had a mystical experience of some sort no matter what it was triggered by (and at least one piece of information the pink light gave him saved his son’s life).

The violet-red/pink/magenta/purple part of the spectrum does have unusual properties. First off, very few foods are these colors, the ones that are tend to be high in nutritional content. Besides flowers, berries, gemstones and the sunset, purple and pink aren’t seen much in nature. Hot pink and purple are all over the place in synthetic form, from neon signs to lipstick, but it’s painfully obvious that the natural violet and pink accents are far less noticeable in the modern cities and areas where nature has been overrun and the the cherry blossoms of the true goddess are gone. These are the colors of the “inner planes” indeed.

“Nothing could generate that color for light but God. In other words, normal light did not contain that color. One time Fat studied a color chart, a chart of the visible spectrum. The color was absent. He had seen a color which no one can see; it lay off the end.” ~VALIS

Not too long ago someone wrote an article about magenta and the fact it does not have its own wavelength called “Magenta Ain’t a Colour”. Many people just didn’t “get” the play on words in the title or the whole point of the article, so the commentary at the bottom is helpful and includes links about how colour is really all in the brain anyway:
I read the VALIS trilogy by the side of a lake during the summer months while it was sunny and warm and the sunlight was brightly reflected upon the water. Violet-pinkish phosphenes from the sunlight filled my eyes and it struck me blind when in the second book, The Divine Invasion, the character states:
"I know that pink,” he said. “It is the human phosphene response to full-spectrum white, to pure sunlight." ~Divine Invasion
Since I was a young child I have been fascinated by the pink-violet tint that the sunlight produces in my eyes when I look at it reflected upon the water for a few seconds. When I used to work in the offices of the “big pink” tower in Portland I would go down to the waterfront on bright days to stare at the sunlit water just to commune with that light. And what’s more I had never really had a fully conscious thought about doing so until reading the VALIS trilogy!
So I looked more deeply into phosphenes and violet-red/ pink light in general. What I found did not surprise me one bit:

Parallel to this universal practice of swaying, there exists another point common to religious rites, initiations and all forms of mystical search: the focusing on sources of light.

For instance, the Zoroastrians use a fire, the Tibetans a flame. The sun or the moon was also worshipped. The reflection of sun on water is used by African mystics; ……
Clairvoyants also use this rudimentary and instinctive practice when they place a candle near a crystal ball. Again, they obtain a phosphene using the reflection of light, the crystal ball acting as a magnifying glass. As all reflected light is more or less polarized, this explains flashes of clairvoyance. It is the same for «magic mirrors » which are absolutely not magical; it is their capacity for reflection that matters. We could quote hundreds of examples that all concur completely, without getting into chancy hypotheses. Studying texts, religions, cults and traditions will show the researcher that phosphenes have greatly contributed to the development of mankind.
What struck me was how I had hardly had a conscious thought about phosphenes nor had I come across much at all in my years of research, though there are many spiritual practices deeply influenced by them. I laughed at how it took VALIS to even get me to think about it, and that phosphenes and afterimages were something I had taken for granted my whole life and hardly noticed the profound role they played in my own clairvoyance. What’s more is that while there are many colors of phosphenes the most prevalent one (at least for me) is that pinkish-violet color described by Dick (secondary is an extreme cobalt bluish). It’s so rarely seen out in nature even in the spring in the city (yet as was pointed out to me there were many violet-purple tones on Pandora in the movie Avatar!).
One thing I recalled was years ago coming across the violet flame back in the days of looking into everything occult and new age. I read bits about how this “special light” is used in meditations, yet I was always turned off by the fact new agers associate this flame with St. Germaine – many of them call it “his flame” (something about St. G. has always stunk in my book, WHO WAS HE REALLY?... but you can make up your own mind about him, I just have an aversion to him perhaps because so many people claim to channel him). So I really didn’t pursue the idea of meditating on a violet flame despite the fact that I literally spent hours looking at the water just to see a violet pink color because something in me subconsciously craved it.
Many chakra charts have the 7th chakra as violet and the 8th as the pink, but either way they are both almost always represented as colors of spirit and the pineal/ crown/ “inner planes”.
“It has to do with being, he thought to himself, knowing this because, and only because, of the beam of pink light, which was a living, electrical blood, the blood of some immense meta-entity.” ~ The Divine Invasion
All of this sparked curiosity about the whole electromagnetic spectrum of visible light and beyond, and before I went further it occurred to me to look into what musical note corresponded to pink/violet-red/purple.
It turns out to be F sharp:

“Also notice that the note F# lies even further from violet, in the near-UV (ultra-violet) area of the spectrum. Thus (when raised 39 octaves rather than forty octaves), it also it resides in the far-red (or near infra-red). Because of this, the note F# embraces the visible spectrum, and thus has some red and some violet, a combination that produces more of a purple color.”
I read information online about how the Great Pyramid is tuned to F sharp, and there are many links out there about the possible role of F# in levitating the stones. My own husband had also mentioned the magick of F# as well and how the king's chamber ressonates with it. The pyramid builders clearly understood the power of geometry, sound and light:
What’s more is that I vaguely recalled reading about the story where Crowley claimed to have seen a “lilac” coloured light fill the king’s chamber during the night he spent in the Great Pyramid. When I finally looked up the actual passage in his autobiographical “Confessions” I had a good laugh:
"Looking about me, I saw that the King's Chamber was glowing with a soft light which I immediately recognized as the astral light. I have been accustomed to describe the colour as ultra-violet, from its resemblance to those rays in the spectrum --- which I happen to be able to distinguish. The range varies, but it is quite noticeably beyond that visible to the normal human eye. The colour is not unlike that of an arc lamp; it is definitely less coloured than the light of a mercury lamp. If I had to affix a conventional label, I should probably say pale lilac. But the quality of the light is much more striking than the colour. Here the word phosphorescence occurs to the mind."
According to many sources ancient texts from the Egyptians to the Chinese claim the earth itself as a planetary sphere is harmonically tuned to F#, and what’s more is that one of the biggest cosmic events in known history involved the note F sharp!
In Dec. 2004 a massive quake in a type of neutron star known as a “magnetar” sent a shockwave across the galaxy. The note it rang was F sharp and the gamma ray flash was brighter than a supernova, releasing as much energy in a 10th of a second as our sun does in 150,000 years! The burst from 50,000 light years away is thought by some to have actually caused the giant earthquake and tsunami that happened on 12/26/2004, a day before the actually gamma burst was detected. Susan Joy Rennison gives the most colorful and thorough summary of the event on her site, and as she mentions in an interview the earth rang F sharp for many months after getting hit with the burst!

“According to electric star theory, neutron stars belong in the same category with invisible pink unicorns.” — Stephen Smith
So in conclusion all I can say for certain is that Philip K. Dick was for real and despite what any of us choose to believe, invisible pink unicorns do indeed ROCK!

EDITORIAL NOTE (2015):  I changed the title of this from pink-violet to pink-purple for clarity.  The pink-violet light I am talking about is the color of the phosphene effect of sunlight.  That color is the primary reason I wrote this blog.  But the point of the blog really is that pink and purple are outside the prism, so I changed the title to reflect that fact.
